This Wu-Tang pizza ain’t nothin’ to f*** wit. I’d love to get just one slice of it. It’s got to be one of the best and well executed pizza homages I’ve seen. I couldn’t get exact information on where this was made but if anyone has more intell be sure to drop it in the comments. If this has made you hungry you can check out some other delicious pies here and if this has made you nostalgic for some good old Shaolin-style beats head over here.
Apparently Christ had a job to finish. While there has been much speculation on exactly when and why he came back, new evidence points to his desire to complete a task and it looks like he one more to do. I also hear miracles are his thing…and giving a nearly 50% discount is darn near a miracle to me. For other Easter related pizza news, peep this post.
If you’re looking for a new combination of flavors, look no further than Japan’s Pizza Hut Mini Dog pizza. The pictured pizza not only comes with little sausages on the outer crust but is half “BBQ Chicken Mayonnaise” and half “Potato Mayonnaise Gratin”. This specialty will run you 2,150 yen (about $23) for a medium size.
The BBQ Chicken Mayonnaise side was described as tasting “like yakitori rather than BBQ, and mayonnaise was kind of killing the whole flavour” and the other half as “basically potato salad served warm with bacon.” You can head over to their website to see some great advertisements for the new pizzas.
If you’re looking to waste a few minutes you may enjoy Photos of Pizza Boxes. It’s a website solely for people to upload and view pictures of pizza boxes and their contents. You’ll find some interesting boxes as well as some appetizing pizzas. You’ll also find yesterday’s leftovers on occasion….but to me that’s still appetizing. I love myself a good cold pizza. How about anyone else, will you eat a fridged slice for breakfast?
A restaurant in Lakewood, Colorado by the name of Virgilio’s has three different pizza challenges sure to fill you up. Until now none had been completed but a man by the name of Patrick has successfully conquered it. All three challenges are solo operations and must be completed in under 2 hours. There are no bathroom breaks permitted and all crust and toppings must be finished. The picture above is the owner of the restaurant with the Hugilio #1 which consists of sausage, pepperoni, green peppers, onions, black olives and mushrooms.
