I’m sure everyones father has played a joke on them at some point or another. Dads always think they’re the funniest, don’t they? This one just happens to be one of my favorite practical jokes a dad has played on his youngin’. It’s pretty damned hilarious…I guess not only because of the little girls wonderment but also because what the dad has to do to pull it off.

This is a pretty funny commercial from a Mexican restaurant called Jamocha’s. I know that after eating a big ol’ super burrito and a basket of chips and salsa I feel the same way. I’ll admit though that I’m not as polite as this lady…I’d just let it go in the middle of the room.

Stephanie Torres of Woman vs Food fame has successfully consumed the 7 pound Extreme Grizzly burrito from Marianito’s in San Antonio, Texas….and she does it so nonchalantly its scary. You actually have an hour to complete the challenge but she dominates it no problem (with just a few burps to make room). I’ve also added a video of her eating the Four Horseman Burger from Chunky’s (also in San Antonio) below. Enjoy your lunch!

Maybe Dr. Seuss’ Sam I Am would want some green bacon instead of the green eggs and ham. I think even I would fancy a bit of this tasty rainbow. Check out how they did this and see the cooked bacon over at Bacon Today.

If you’re a 12-year old kid there is nothing better then being allowed to eat dessert and candy for breakfast…not that you ever really got that opportunity. At least with Cookie Crisp and Reese’s Puffs you felt like you were. In all honestly they’re probably a better morning meal than a Poptart or Toaster Strudel. As far as the parents that feed this to their children…I’m not quite so sure how they get away with that but I wouldn’t mind being their spawn. These are some throwback commercials for your Saturday morning.

And if the sugar rush isn’t quite doing it for you maybe whatever the folks behind this 1969 IHOP commercial were taking might get you through the day.

While reading an article about Hong Kong food items I stumbled upon Avlxyz’s Flickr account. Living in the city the avid foodie loves taking pictures of the wonderful food he eats and writes great reviews about them all (if you happen to find yourself needing a recommendation whilst in the Pearl of the Orient). Here are a few morsels for your Sunday morning.

西多士 Simple French toast with loads of salty butter and honey in a squeeze bottle.

Wagyu Rump Steak and Eggs

Baguette French Toast with Bacon, Caramelized Apples and Apple Syrup

…and I know this isn’t breakfast or brunch really but I happened upon this amazing Wagyu burger and just had to include it.

What better way to start your Sunday off than this wonderful Eggwich by sandwich artist Insanewiches. If you haven’t seen his site (which I’m hoping you have), he makes brilliant and hilarious edible art including the East Meets West Dog, Ass-Backwards Ham Sandwich, And The Wiener Is…, The Patty Failburger, The Dadwich, and The Giftwich.

Here’s another morning time sandwich for you…the Breakfast Club

A restaurant in Lakewood, Colorado by the name of Virgilio’s has three different pizza challenges sure to fill you up. Until now none had been completed but a man by the name of Patrick has successfully conquered it. All three challenges are solo operations and must be completed in under 2 hours. There are no bathroom breaks permitted and all crust and toppings must be finished. The picture above is the owner of the restaurant with the Hugilio #1 which consists of sausage, pepperoni, green peppers, onions, black olives and mushrooms.
