I know Christmas is over and done with, but I’m sure you’ve still got the tree up and a little egg nog still in the fridge. There are probably wads of gift wrapping paper in the corners of the living room still, and there might even be some leftover Honey Baked ham. So for that reason I give you a little tale from Mr. Snoop D-O-Double G himself:
Merry Christmas from I Can Has Internets to you and yours. Here’s wishing you a wonderful day filled with presents, warmth, family, friends, toys, music, movies, good food, laughter and hopefully a lot of egg nog.
This is from the 1982 British short The Snowman, based on Raymond Briggs children’s book. The song, Walking in the Air, was written by Howard Blake and preformed by Peter Auty. I hope you enjoy this as much as I do. Here’s to a great Christmas and Holidays to you and your family.
What’s a girl to do when she’s stuck in the Pittsburgh airport all alone during one of the worst snowstorms of recent memory? Well if you’re Ashley Klinger, and you’ve got a video camera, there is a whole lot to be done.
My adventures in the Pittsburgh International Airport during the worst snow storm of the century. After arriving late for a flight at 7:40 PM to LGA I decided to stick around my gate until my flight at 5:40 and had a BLAST!
I was on my way to New York City to attend an audition for the national tour of the wizard of oz (coming to pitt in April) when I missed my flight by 15 minutes due to the weather. I knew the only way to make it to the audition was if I spent the night and took the 5:40 AM flight the next morning. They told me to sleep in the kids area. I eventually made the US airways flight (although it was an hour late) and did well at the audition. I danced than had a callback to sing.
It seems like you see this happening more often than not. I mean obviously you’re not going to watch a successful attempt at the classic Risky Business slide, but there are an awful lot of these girls falling on their butts. I know you’ve seen it before but like peanut butter & jelly sandwiches, it never gets old.
Could this possibly be the solution to the World’s energy needs? No more reliance on coal or wood. Shoot we wouldn’t even need solar, wind or water energy too. Okay, obviously I’m being facetious, but how awesome is this? I would love to have my Christmas tree lit up using this method. Amazing!
Snoop Dogg really knows how to celebrate the season. I mean, look at that terrific sweater. And he certainly brings a whole new meaning to Christmas tree. If you’re interested, there is a Death Row Christmas album, but I doubt it will be replacing your Bing Crosby standbys any time soon.
And here I thought I had balls. I come nowhere close to the nuts on these dudes. Although from the screaming it sounds like it might actually be a chick. I can’t quite tell where it’s coming from…but someone surely is shrieking loudly. Those Russians do it like no one else. I swear, it must be the lack of daylight, the cold and the snow but boy do they ever do crazy things to get over the boredom. They almost put the Jackass crew to shame.
This amazing video was made by 25-year old Rhode Island School of Design grad and animator Edmund Earle. He’s been working several months on it and I think it certainly paid off.
“I have no affiliation with the actual creators of the film ‘Yogi Bear’,” says Earle, who says he’s been working on the video since Sept. from the hours of midnight and 3 a.m. daily. “I googled the posters, watched the trailer, and that was it.” He also created the video entirely by himself, with the exception of the voice, which he employed a friend to help out with.
This might just be the most random way I’ve seen Christmas celebrated. I just don’t know what to say. Apparently this is how they roll in Portland, Oregon. What more can you add to make this even odder? Maybe throw a few cats in there. Or a midget (little person?) on his shoulders.
If you needed yet another reason to get into the mood of Christmas, check out this awesome break dancing Santa Claus. Never has Santa been so hip and cool since maybe Billy Bob in Bad Santa. I’ve a lot of favorite Santas (Miracle on 34th Street, Santa Clause, A Christmas Story…just to name a few), but this one is pretty cool as well.
I wonder if the real big guy can shake a leg. I’d imagine that he can cut a rug pretty well. Seeing how jolly he is and all. And with that wife of his, I’m sure they can boogy pretty well.
