As a kid who screamed his head off Christmas after Christmas opening boxes of consoles from Atarti to Gamecube, this video practically has me weeping. Although it’s missing some great consoles, it gives a brief history of gaming in a short period of time. If 30 years (not counting the oscilloscope) has brought us this far, imagine what it will be like in another 30 years.
Man, what I wouldn’t do to have a setup like this!
This is how 5 times Kickboxing World Champion Michael Kuhr handles a rowdy patron that would like to get into the club he is a bouncer at. Personally I would go with a roundhouse to the head Guile-style. But either way, it seems that all his training and general ass-kicking have paid off. After this, I’m certain that the disorderly guy will get his act together and no longer try to hassle club staff.
Straight from Bollywood, this film titled Endhiran is just pure awesome-sauce. You really won’t need to watch another action movie for the rest of the year. This will satisfy all of your adrenaline junkie needs. I would love to see Jason Statham make something to outdo this. If anyone could it would be him.
What a smart (and adorable) little girl. I like the smarty pants dance more than her impressive geography skills. If/when I have offspring I can only hope that they’re this awesome. Shoot, she’s got more dance moves than I do, and she’s only what…2 years old?
Check out this cool time-lapse of world plane travel. It takes place over 24 hours. Here is an explanation:
This is a 24 hour observation of all of the large aircraft flights in the world, condensed down to 1:11. From space we look like a bee hive of activity. What you will see, is a video showing air traffic around the world for 24 hours, taken from a satellite. The yellow dots are airplanes in the sky during a 24 hour period.
You will see the light of the day moving from the east to the west, as the Earth spins on its axis. Also you will see the aircraft flow of traffic leaving the North American continent and traveling at night to arrive in the UK in the morning. Then you will see the flow changing, leaving the UK in the morning and flying to the American continent in daylight. This is something that everyone should see.
There are lots of people in the sky at any given moment. You can tell it was spring time in the north by the sun’s foot print over the planet. You could see that it didn’t set for long in the extreme north and it didn’t quite rise in the extreme south. With this 24 hour observation of aircraft travel on the earth’s surface we get to see the daylight pattern move as well. Remember; watch the day to night… Day is over in Australia when it starts.
At first I didn’t think this was going to be all that exciting, but I kept watching, and sure enough the heat gets turned up. You think the fan is going to walk away calming…but no, wait for it.
This adorable little French girl is describing the horrifying events that took place during a recent episode of Winnie the Pooh. She seems to have quite the imagination. I don’t remember any episodes being quite this dramatic. She’s also got quite the storytelling acumen. It would be interesting to hear her portrayal of an actual horror film. Needless to say, this is the cutest thing you’ll all day today for sure and maybe even of the year.
Well at least there is one good thing to come from all the flooding. Now you can dust off your canoe and head out to the local McD’s for a good ol’ BigMac. This is from the McDonald’s in Milton, Brisbane and was taken just a few days ago. If you were ever wondering how serious the floods were, this should give you a good indication.
Personally I would be devastated if I couldn’t get my McGriddles. It’s nice to see that all I need now is a good canoe and an oar to get ‘er done.
The Amish are pretty quiet bunch. They normally keep to themselves. They wake up even before Mr. Sun and work throughout the day on their farms. They normally only venture into town to pick up a few supplies. Sometimes you might see a few of the “wilder” kids speeding down a hill on his scooter at break-neck speeds, but other than that you don’t see too much in so far as rowdiness.
Well apparently the snow brings out a little wild in this guy. I’m sure there is a little less work to do on snow days. So what better way to pass a little time than doing a little buggy sketching. Shoot, I know I would just love to do this. I’m jealous for sure.
So a little bit ago New York City got a crap ton of snow…at least for their standards. A lot of people didn’t know quite how to behave under these conditions. There were an awful lot of clueless people about but some of the more adventurous knew exactly how to take advantage of the situation.
While some built snowmen and others had snowball fights. The truly genius took to the streets with their skis. Most went with the good old classic cross country ski, but this fellow here had a better idea.
