Apparently even horses can suffer from the rare malady that is dendrophilia. I know I’ve had my issues dealing with a tasty shrub every now-and-again…but I’ve never gone balls (neck?) deep in the sweet cervase of a tree.
The Lesser Megalapteryx or Upland Moa (Megalapteryx didinus) was a flightless bird native to the northern part of New Zealand. It became extinct around the 14th century AD. Early on it was possible that they could take flight but as they evolved they grew in size, with the larger ones reaching nearly 500 pounds and standing 12 feet high.
It is belived that they were hunted and killed off as the the Polynesian ancestors of the Maori settled in the region. Although there is some speculation that a form of the bird survived until much later (possibly till the 19th century). As they had no natural predators (there were no land mammals living on New Zealand) they were quite unprotected against attacks by Maori.
Nonetheless, check out this insane preserved foot from an obviously very large one. I think this may give me nightmares tonite. At the very least it gives me the heebie-jeebies.

With current laws and regulations, businesses are now more than ever under heavy scrutiny to be honest when attempting to bring in customers. You’ve seen plenty deceptive ads and marques…and these in my mind only hurt the proprietor as it disappoints the customer when he sees the reality. I think it’s good sense for the owners of Deja Vu to lay their offerings out in the open and let you know what you’re about to face. It certainly makes me want to take a peek and see if there really are only a few “swamp donkies” and how they stack up to the good lookin’ ones.
You might think that this is another sad tale the depicts some of the problems with America’s youth. Well she’s a winner in our book. You see…she’s thrifty. This is tackling two birds with one stone. Celebrate your academic achievements along with the birth of your child all in one day. Good job Cortney. She’s also very courteous…I think most others would hold the parties separately in order to receive more gifts and cake. Hat’s off to this wonder girl…she does things at her own pace…and she don’t care.

Ninjas are awesome, we know this…but if you’ve ever tried to evade one you know how difficult it can be. Here are a bunch of ways that one might be able to elude capture from said Ninjas…but I think they’d still find a way to Karate chop you.
Some pets are lazy and more often than not cats can be…but have you ever seen a cat that did not care as much as this guy? I think we all might be about to learn a little something from the seemingly idleness of this purring pretty. I look at it more as a mediative state, a serenity if you will…a calmness. He is so “at one” with his surroundings that he just really does not give a damn. He is okay with eggplants being balanced on his head, and I think that’s something we could all strive for.

Man…everytime this happens to me. I debate which dino I’m going to ride into town on…and the one day I had to bring Terry the Triceratops I can’t tie him up. It’s getting harder and harder to own the bigger ones. I really think I need to look into getting a compact model. Anyone know a good Dino Dealer?
