The United States Treasury just released the design for a new $100 bill that you’ll be able to use to spend on all sorts of things like all those KFC Double Downs and whatever else people buy these days. Apparently, they’re trying to stay ahead of the counterfeiters who will no doubt make a decent copy of this one in due time.
Here’s a tease, but click over to TechVert for more pics and a video of the new $100 bill.
NOOKA, maker of probably the coolest watches in the world has just teamed up with MAD Toy Design, maker of Dunnies and other wildly popular vinyl toys to bring you the newest collaboration inspired by MAD’s SLIMEBALL Sqwert. Basically, they’ve taken the Sqwert and NOOKA’s ZUB ZOT 38 and mashed ‘em together to make the coolest watch I’ve seen in a while. Here it is:
The watch, named SLIMEBALL ZUB, is available April 2010 and only 500 are being sold worldwide, so, needless to say, if you wanna get your hands on one of these bad boys, you’re probably gonna have to get on it pretty quick.
More info on NOOKA:

Just recently Citroen debuted the Survolt at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show. This badboy is an all-electric concept car. This is what you’d get if you took the Batmobile, my dreams and the blood from Chuck Norris and mixed it all together. Have you seen a more beautiful car…ever? You can check out more photos at The Design Inspiration.
And just like that we’re down to 7 finalists. Last week Big Mike was voted off by the viewing public but brought back to life by the judges. As a result two competitors were to be voted off this week. The unfortunate couple was Andrew Garcia and Katie Stevens.
Its always interesting each year to see how the judge’s save performs in the following weeks and whether or not the public keeps them around. Looks like Big Mike not only was spared one week but now two. Sadly for me, Aaron is still around but I did think he picked up his game a little and does deserve it….for now. My guess for next week….Lee, pack yo bags.
The latest trailer for Toy Story 3 was just released today and it’s awesome. With all the gadgets and gizmos kids have now-a-days if seems that some of the classic toys are going by the wayside. Long live, Slinkys, Etch-A-Sketches and Frisbees! There are a few more trailers after the jump.
With Kick-Ass coming out this Friday I thought I’d look around deviantART for some cool fan art. Here are a few nice works that I found. Click on the pictures for full size.
Brought to you by Patrick Jean, this has got to be the most radical tubular 80s throwback brought to life video ever. I wish I could play Space Invaders or Donkey Kong in the real world!
And if that video wasn’t enough to blow your mind here is a similar styled one from the band Rymdreglages. They say on the YouTube page that it took 1500 hours of brick building to make!
Hopefully you’ve received some money back from the big bad government from all the taxes you paid last year. What better way to utilize your new wealth than to put it right back into the economy and help pull us out of this recession.
Most of us have a Wii, Playstation 3, XBOX, iPod or MacBook but few, if anyone, reading this has a gold-plated one. You will be the talk of the town, the cat’s pajamas, the bee’s knees (if you will)…when you own one of these luxurious gadgets.
Well damn! I certainly didn’t think Big Mike would get the least votes from the viewing public. Although he got “voted off”, the judges stepped in (and rightfully so) to save him for another week. I guess we’ll see if he can do better and gather a few more fans. I don’t remember precisely but I think that in the last few years whoever was saved by the judges actually went on a bit of a tear and remained around for a bit.
Overall I feel like the competitors are doing better with stage presence and performance. There really wasn’t anyone that was TOO horrible. I personally would like to see Aaron go, he just irks me. Unfortunately I think he’s getting all those fanatical 17-year old and younger votes…the ones that sit there and redial the number for an hour….I think he may be around for a while. So once again..here is your American Idol Top 9.
