Looks like this bird has gotten a quick dinner for himself and his little ones. I’m familiar with making snow angels, and this could have been one…but the fact that there was a wee rabbit scarified in the creation of it forces me to call it a snow devil. I guess we all have to go sooner or later, that darn hare never gets a break.
These images were gathered from all over the internets but it has come to our attention that a few of them can be purchased as shirts from various sites. If you’re looking to find some terrific t-shirts (beyond just what you may see here as well) visit Threadless, Shirt Woot! ,Tee Fury and Glennz Tees.
So a little bit ago New York City got a crap ton of snow…at least for their standards. A lot of people didn’t know quite how to behave under these conditions. There were an awful lot of clueless people about but some of the more adventurous knew exactly how to take advantage of the situation.
While some built snowmen and others had snowball fights. The truly genius took to the streets with their skis. Most went with the good old classic cross country ski, but this fellow here had a better idea.
There was a whole lot of new tech that came through the shops this last year. Here is a quick and concise list of the best things to hit the shelves. What new gadgets are you looking forward to this year?
Growing up we all watched Back to the Future and wondered what it would be like 25 years from then. Well it is now 2011 and it’s been the 2 1/2 decades since Marty and Doc gassed it up to 88 MPH.
Now that the time has arrived we’ve gotten a few new technologies. But how do those compare to what we had back then? And are we more fortunate to have all the glitter and gold of current day, or are the easier, more simple technologies better?
Check out this awesome statute made by artist Kody Koala. He doesn’t say what the 6-inch tall figurine is made from but it is up for sale. Currently it’s at $150 or so…seems sort of pricey but I guess there’s nothing like a flash eating Yoshi. He’s always been a favorite of mine.
Here is my second custom that I am putting up. I am trying to explore new places to take the Mario Universe, and so I mixed it with Zombies. This is a statue that measures about 6 inches tall with the stand and about 3 inches wide. This was a fun little piece I did, and I am going to be making a series of this.
Even though this is from 1972, I’ve never seen it and although it’s almost 30 years past, it still blows my mind.
When Olga performed Korbut Flip at the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich, it was the first backwards release move ever attempted on the uneven bars.
After the boards displayed a score of 9.8, the audience began to whistle, jeer, stamp their feet, and shout vulgar remarks at the judges in disapproval, believing her score to be too low. However, the judges refused to change her score.
The Korbut Flip on uneven bars is no longer allowed in gymnastics competition because it involves standing on the high bar, a maneuver which is now illegal in the Code of Points.
It’s been over 13 years since Chris left was much earlier than he should have. Can you believe he was only 33 years old? He by far was one of the funniest comedians to come out the SNL group. He’s just so much different than your average comic. He brought huge (literally) amounts of energy and spunk to any skit. One of my favorites is when he’s the dieting woman, and who doesn’t love da superfans!
Check out this awesome interview from 1995 on the David Letterman show. Just to show how crazy, and I mean that in an awesome way, he does back to back cartwheels just as his entrance. Be sure to watch part 2 to see how Chris used to watch Letterman in college. Or the context to “they all woke up and I was bare naked on the plane.”
Are you kidding me?!!?!? This is just insane…bananas….nuts. This guy takes crazy to a whole new level. If I had balls the size of this guys I might have people refer to me as King Kong. How do you train or practice for something like this?
We trust you had a fantastic evening and end to 2010. Here’s to a fabulous and spectacular 2011. To help you ring in the new year this well dressed guy will do a little ditty for you. I wish I had dance moves like this. Although it wouldn’t matter too much today, I’m a little groggy from last night’s festivities. I’ll be taking it easy and watching more of these cute videos.
