As smartphones become more commonplace, the technology is screaming to be unleashed for purchasing. Today, many companies are using smartphone applications to sell their services, allowing people to make purchases with their phones acting like debit cards. The trend is increasing dramatically.
“There will be a time in the near future that people will be able to use their phone as their ID, their credit cards, and their photo album,” said David Lamb from the tech blog, Techi. “We won’t always need wallets.”

We may not always ask, “What’s in your wallet?” Someday, it could be, “Why do you have a wallet?”
