The Food Network has a brand new show out called Outrageous Food, hosted by Aaron McCargo, Jr. (of Big Daddy’s House fame). He goes around the country finding food items that are extreme…and in this first episode I think he clearly did that.

There is a restaurant in Pensacola, Florida, McGuire’s Irish Pub, serving a monstrously that would make even “Super Users” of Carl’s Jr. light-headed. It’s called the Terrible Garbage Burger and here is what it includes):

3/4-pound burger topped with liverwurst, corned beef, sautéed onions, sautéed mushrooms, jalapenos, black olives, banana peppers, pineapple rings, wasabi, guacamole, pepperoni, chili, sauerkraut, marinara sauce, barbecue sauce, peanut butter, tomatoes, red onions, five types of cheese, two strips of bacon, remoulade sauce, and vanilla ice cream drizzled with hot fudge and maraschino cherry

They say they get at least 3 people a day ordering it. I got to be honest with you….for $9.99 I would actually be indulging in that beast daily if I were near there. I mean all you’ve got to do is set the ice cream fudge and cherry off to the side for dessert…and eat around the liverwurst and you’re set! What do you say, would you give this a go?

Bonus: Here’s Aaron at The Fat Cat in Quincy, MA eating some hot hot wings.

  • The funny thing is that I saw the list of ingredients, considered it for a moment, and thought, "Nope, probably wouldn't order that."

But then I saw it's only $9.99! You'd pay $34 for that in NYC. What does a regular burger cost there? A quarter?

I actually live in pensacola and was surprised as hell when I saw this. All the burgers are $9.99 and MOST are delicious. Just for the record, the Garbage burger looks NOTHING like that and is pretty much just a bunch of mush on a plate. It's still decent, but you would not be able to set the desert aside. Really the biggest downside is when you get a mouthful of say, burger, wasabi, and peanut butter at once.

Thanks for putting this online, thought it was awesome!
